You’ve done the work (possibly for years).
You’ve read the books and listened to the podcasts. You’ve learned a lot.
And something still isn’t moving.
That’s not your fault. That’s a sign that talking about it isn’t the same as processing it.
I’m Cassie Allen, LCSW. I specialize in trauma therapy using EMDR and attachment-based parts work for people who feel stuck circling the drain and are ready to actually get somewhere.
Most of my clients come to me through multi-day EMDR intensives and retreats held at a private cabin in Alabama. Some fly in from across the country. Some are local. All of them are serious about change.
Let’s get to work.
The Intensives Experience
What if therapy didn’t have to take years?
Weekly therapy is like watering a plant once a week. The plant grows a little at a time. An EMDR intensive is like actually repotting the plant, giving it the right soil and fertilizer, then watching it take off.
My intensives are multi-day, immersive, and held at a private cabin. That’s not an accident. The container matters. When you’re not driving home between sessions, not answering emails, not slipping back into the routine that keeps your wounds comfortable, something different becomes possible.
Clients come from Alabama, Florida, and across the country, even the world, for this format. Some have been in therapy for years and felt stuck or limited. Some are newer to therapy but know they want to move fast. Some are therapists themselves who understand exactly what this type of approach can do.
This is not standard therapy with more hours crammed in. It’s a fundamentally different experience.
A retreat or intensive might be right for you if:
You’ve tried weekly therapy and hit a ceiling
You want to do months of work in a matter of days
You’re ready to go deep, not just discuss then run out of time
You can set aside time to travel to Alabama or do a remote intensive
You want a focused container rather than an open-ended process
